How It Works

📅

Measured Series Is Authority

Consumption measured from the start of the month is the base of the projection. Last year is only a reference for the seasonal pattern.

🌡️

Weather Correlation

Temperature-consumption correlation coefficients are learned from facility data. Hot/cold weather is immediately reflected in the updated forecast.

🏨

Occupancy Factor

In hospitals, hotels, and shopping centres, occupancy rate directly affects consumption. Included in the forecast via API or manual input.

💡

Real-Time Correction

Actual consumption from the first week of the month is applied as a projection coefficient for the remaining weeks.

Projection Questions

How is the end-of-month projection calculated?
The authoritative source is the consumption series measured from the start of the month to today. Remaining days are carried forward using the day-of-week pattern and a recency-weighted daily pace. Outdoor temperature is applied only when the sensitivity measured for that facility is statistically meaningful (r²≥0.40); otherwise no multiplier is used. Unit price is carried forward flat until an official invoice or tariff row arrives — no speculative increase is added.
How is projection done for a new facility?
If no historical data exists, sector averages are used for the first 3 months. Once 3 months of real data have accumulated, the system automatically switches to its own data.
How often is the projection updated?
The next 30-day forecast is updated every night at midnight. Weather data is fetched every 6 hours.
How is it exported to the CFO report?
Argus generates the monthly budget projection report as a PDF and automatically sends it to the CFO mailing list.
