Which Devices Does Argus EMS Support?

Argus EMS is brand independent: it reads any device speaking Modbus TCP/RTU, M-Bus TCP, SNMP or DSE — energy analyzers, transformer meters, water and heat meters, UPS units and genset controllers. Where a register template exists, a new model is defined in minutes; where it does not, the device map is derived and added to the template library. No device replacement required.

Connection Requirements

A small software agent is installed on-site. It only needs to be on the same local network as the devices — no complex infrastructure required.

  • A continuously running computer or industrial PC on-site
  • Network connection to devices (wired or wireless)
  • Appropriate converter for serial-line devices
  • Internet access (intermittent connectivity also works fine)
