ISO 50001 enerji yönetim sistemi — Argus EMS EnPI takibi ve regresyon analizi

Why ISO 50001?

Regulatory pressure on large energy consumers is growing — certification is both a cost saver and a competitive advantage.

⚖️

Legal Obligation

Large industrial consumers are required to establish an energy management system. ISO 50001 is the fastest way to fulfil this obligation with a documented international standard.

💰

10–15% Energy Savings

Facilities that implement ISO 50001 document average savings of 10–15% in energy costs. Systematic EnPI tracking makes wasteful consumption visible.

🏆

Export & Tender Advantage

European markets and public tenders increasingly require ISO 50001 certification. Get there before your competitors — first-mover advantage is critical.

What Does Argus EMS Provide for ISO 50001?

Integrates with your existing meter infrastructure — no new hardware needed. All data flows automatically.

📊

EnPI Variable Catalogue

HDD (heating degree days), CDD (cooling degree days), patient-days, headcount, production tonnes — select the variables for your sector and Argus tracks them automatically.

📈

OLS Regression Analysis

A NumPy-based OLS regression engine computes the relationship between energy consumption and independent variables. r² ≥ 0.75 threshold check complies with ISO standard.

🌡️

Climate-Normalised Consumption

Consumption comparisons adjusted for the HDD/CDD factor — real performance is invisible without distinguishing a cold winter from a mild one. Argus does this automatically.

📅

Monthly Data Tracking

Estimated (regression model) vs actual consumption is compared every month. If the deviation from baseline exceeds a threshold, an alert email is sent automatically.

📄

Auditor-Ready Excel Report

Annual EnPI report exported to Excel in one click. Baseline, target, actual, deviation and regression equation — everything independent auditors expect.

6-Month Certification Journey

With Argus EMS, certification is achievable in 6 months at a typical facility. The software provides automatic support at every step.

1
Month 1

Baseline Measurement & Variable Definition

Existing meters are connected to Argus. EnPI variables specific to your facility are selected (HDD/CDD, production data, patient-days). Twelve months of historical data are loaded — baseline calculation ready.

2
Months 2–3

Data Flow & First OLS Regression

Argus collects data at 15-minute granularity. At the end of the first month, OLS regression is run and the r² value is validated against the ≥ 0.75 threshold. If the model is weak, the variable combination is updated.

3
Months 4–5

EnPI Target & Deviation Alarms

A target EnPI is set relative to baseline (5–10% improvement). When actual consumption deviates 10% from the regression forecast, an automatic email is sent to the site manager — enabling proactive intervention.

4
Month 6

Excel Report → Audit → Certificate

Annual EnPI report is exported to Excel. Baseline, target, actual, r² value, regression equation and monthly data table — delivered to the independent auditor. ISO 50001 certificate issued.

ISO 50001 Readiness Checklist

Answer 6 questions and instantly see how far your facility is from certification.

1. Do you measure energy consumption at the device or circuit level?

2. Do you have a monthly consumption baseline for the last 12 months?

3. Have you defined an energy performance indicator (EnPI)?

4. Are the external variables that affect consumption (HDD/CDD, production, occupancy) recorded?

5. Can you report energy data for internal audits?

6. Do you have an energy manager or responsible person to oversee the ISO 50001 process?

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is required to comply with ISO 50001?

Industrial facilities with annual energy consumption above 1,000 TOE (tonnes of oil equivalent) are required to establish an energy management unit. ISO 50001 meets this obligation with an internationally recognised standard, simplifying audits and boosting export eligibility.

What is EnPI and how is it calculated?

EnPI (Energy Performance Indicator) is calculated by dividing energy consumed by an output unit: e.g. kWh/m², kWh/patient-day or kWh/production-tonne. Argus EMS builds an OLS regression model with your chosen variables to normalise climate and production factors — revealing true energy performance.

Does Argus EMS generate the auditor report automatically?

Yes. The annual EnPI report is generated in Excel format with a single click. It includes baseline period, reference values, monthly actuals, regression equation (coefficients + constant), r² value and target-vs-actual deviation table — everything ISO 50001 auditors expect.

Is integration with my existing meters possible?

Yes. Integration is possible with any meter or analyser supporting Modbus TCP/RTU or M-Bus protocol. Over 200 device templates are ready. No replacement needed; a field agent is commissioned in 4 hours.

Ready to Start Your ISO 50001 Journey?

Independent of facility size — Argus EMS is commissioned in 4 hours. Let's build your first EnPI baseline together.
