Which chiller brands are supported?
York (YVAA series) and Rhoss chillers are live in the field. The monitoring model is brand-independent: it is built on common metrics such as water temperatures, load, compressor and alarm status; templates for other brands with Modbus communication are created quickly.
Is remote setpoint change safe?
Yes. Commands travel over a signed, authorized channel; only values within the defined safe range are accepted, and every change is written to the audit trail. An unauthorized or out-of-range command never reaches the device.
How does automatic setpoint management decide?
It is rule-based: day/night hours, outdoor temperature and chiller load are evaluated together. Every decision keeps a charted trace — why it was written under which condition can be reviewed later. If preferred, it runs in suggestion-only mode without writing.
We already have a BMS — what does Argus add?
The BMS controls the chiller; Argus relates it to energy. Chiller telemetry meets the panel's electricity consumption, budget tracking and the alarm stream on one screen. Argus does not replace the BMS — it sits beside it and adds the energy perspective.
Can predictive maintenance be applied to a cooling unit?
